Miracle: That message that tastes bad going down.
Ok, we don’t always operate at our highest vibration…whatever that means. But for me I think it means that maybe we aren’t operating at our fullest potential every moment.
Let’s be honest though, who does? Life happens right? You get kicked in the teeth..deflated, and sometimes the act of getting out of bed is a miracle of such great proportion the rest of the day feels like a slam dunk!
When you are in the midst of these feelings of self doubt and questioning every decision you ever made in your life, the spiral to a deep dark place becomes very real.
If you are anything like me though or have experienced a situation similar to mine, the single mom, got to put food on the table, kiss those babies on the way out the door and never let them see you cry mode…you understand what I’m saying.
Then one day…after a lot of time on your knees praying, a message comes to you that may have been meant to taste like you chewed a Bayer aspirin, but in your head, it becomes an affirmation, a challenge, a perspective change, a MIRACLE!
That happened to me tonight…someone told me that an old employer of mine said, “When Allison was in her prime she was unstoppable….the best in the industry.”
Wait…what? WHEN I was in my prime? I’m only 41 and not sure I’m ready to be put out to pasture yet. Wait? Was she implying that I gave my prime to her? Wait…is that a gentle way of saying you’re waiting to watch me fail at my new endeavor, one not led by you?
Now, this is where you get to make a choice…do I ruminate on this and allow it to be yet another rock thrown in my boat as I’m desperately rowing to shore? Or…do I take this comment and turn it on its axis and allow it to drive me towards my goals?
As you embark on your career in real estate…or any other dream or goal for that matter, you will be faced with challenges and sometimes those will come in
