Hi there! Welcome to Mistakes and Miracles! I’m Allison and I’ll be your guide on this tour of my life, full of messy mistakes and miracle moments.
I’m a single mom, entrepreneur, real estate expert, foodie who is lucky to get DoorDash or Uber Eats to deliver dinner on time and a glorified Uber driver slightly jealous of her kid’s social lives.
Now that’s not the resume I would give most people, but I feel like we are going to be friends.

I’ve been in the real estate industry for over 15 years. I started as an agent with a pretty impressive track record selling millions of dollars of real estate in my first year, but, I quickly found myself wanting to do more with the passion I had for real estate.
After having my second daughter I decided to travel the path of brokerage management as well as training, coaching and consulting for individual Realtors and large teams.
I pursued this passion for 9 years while learning from the best and in my opinion coaching some of the most amazing and professional agents in the industry. I worked for a very large real estate firm for a majority of my career, but was then given the opportunity to open a new region for a more local firm in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. While with the regional brokerage firm I had the pleasure of opening and operating 3 real estate offices, coaching hundreds of agents and finding true personal fulfillment in helping them realize their dreams.
Fast forward a few years and the time came for me to realize my dream! An amazing opportunity to open my own real estate brokerage, NextHome Premier Choice, a franchise for one of the most progressive and innovative companies in the industry! As an added blessing I get to do what I love with family! The picture below is me with my Uncle and business partner and my cousin at our 1 year anniversary party. Now that I have added brokerage owner to my resume, I still get the privilege of providing coaching and support to my agents but on a whole new level with the most amazing tools and systems.
The funny thing about achieving one of your biggest dreams…you actually free up some space to dream a little more! That’s where this blog came from, a platform to share the knowledge I have with agents who want and need someone to help them along their journey.
We’re going to talk a lot about real estate and being a Realtor in this blog, but we are also going to discuss how to juggle being a business owner with a commission only income, while raising your kids and trying to have some sort of a life to call your own.
Tall order? Of course!! That’s why this blog starts with MISTAKES and ends with MIRACLES.
